What Is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of dinners over the course of 10 weeks that encourages discussion about life's biggest questions.  Ever wonder what exactly it is that all these Christians claim to believe?  Or how can anyone have faith in a God that allows so much suffering in the world?  These questions and more are discussed in an open, non-judgmental way, encouraging everyone to share as much (or as little!) of their opinions as they would like.  Alpha is formatted into three distinct sections (dinner, video, and discussion time) with each section lasting about 30-45 minutes.

What Alpha is NOT...
Alpha is not a Bible study nor is it a teaching time.  Simply put, it is a dinner party where questions of God, faith, life, and more are thrown into the arena for discussion.  All are welcome to attend and express their opinions on life's biggest questions.  Everyone's viewpoints are valued and will be respected.

When is Alpha?
Alpha at Mosaic is hosted twice a year in the spring and fall.  The current session of Alpha is meeting on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. at Pastor Mark's house.  Please contact Pastor Mark at MarkHamilton@MosaicCommunityFellowship.org if you are interested in attending.  We recommend that you show up to Alpha either early or right on time as the schedule for the night is divided into three distinct sections, as listed below:
7:00 - 7:30 p.m. - Dinner
7:30 - 8:15 p.m. - Video
8:15 - 9:00 p.m. - Discussion

The next Alpha session will begin on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the church.
