From the moment you drive into the parking lot situated between the row of warehouses that we call home, you will know that Mosaic Community Fellowship is a different kind of church. We are not a church that prides ourselves on our building, our clothes, or even our similarities to other churches. We are a church that prides ourselves on our differences, our diversity, and our love for one another. Being a non-denominational and bilingual church in Silver Spring, Maryland, we present the Gospel every Sunday morning in both, English and Spanish. We love our local community and its diverse population, hence our bilinguality in catering to our neighbors! Many have said our church will fail because we can't defy "typical" church models by catering to two different ethnic groups at one time. Others have insisted that our congregants couldn't possibly have meaningful relationships with one another, especially if they don't even speak the same language. Still others have insisted that we need a "regular" church building in order to cater to church-going believers. But do you want to know why we named ourselves Mosaic? Because this is where all of our broken pieces fit together and we know it can be the place where all your broken pieces fit too. For when you come to Mosaic, no matter what walk of life you are coming from, whether you are a baptized believer or a non-believer, an English speaker or a Spanish speaker, poor or rich, young or old, or whatever other worldly differences that you can think of that would divide us, you are among family. So what are you waiting for? Come experience Mosaic for yourself. We'd love to see you!
